Getting started with Ratify

A high-level orientation to what Ratify is, what it ships today, and what's on the roadmap.

Ratify is an intelligence platform for beverage-alcohol compliance, built for wineries, breweries, and distilleries shipping DTC. The platform is being built foundation-first. Every claim traces to a primary source, every rate carries a citation, every answer the assistant gives cites the statute it came from.

What's shipping today

  • A reference page for every state (at /states/ca, /states/ny, and so on) with primary-source citations, rendered as we add each state.
  • The Explore map at /explore: per-state DTC shipping status at a glance, with cited-answer previews.
  • The Compliance Assistant: plain-English answers grounded in the actual statute — live in the dashboard for closed-beta wineries, with a public demo.
  • The embeddable eligibility widget: a "Can I have this shipped?" check wineries add to their own storefront checkout — cited verdict, adult-signature notice, and tax preview. See "Embedding the eligibility widget" in these docs for the install guide.

What's on the roadmap

  • The tax engine, in development: federal excise, state excise, sales/use, and local surcharges, with a citation on every rate.
  • The Expansion Advisor: where to ship next, what it takes to get licensed, and how the cost-benefit pencils.
  • Managed filing: planned for a later phase as an add-on. Not part of Ratify today.

The compliance copilot you trust is the one you can audit.
